My Alter Ego
Stuffing around online tonight and decided to have a play with this website and create a new avatar for my various messenger programs as well as work profile for the version of ELGG we’ve got running (my supervisor’s idea believe it or not).
It’s pretty true to form actually…

Covert Twittering
Posted in Webtools on 20 July 2007 | Leave a Comment »
Twitter has just released a new feature that enables users to restrict viewing access to their posts. My assumption is activating this feature will result in Twitter Badges – such as the one in right navigation of this blog – ceasing to work properly. I’ve yet to confirm this however.
With discussions currently underway [...]
New and Improved Twitter API
Posted in Webtools on 10 July 2007 | 3 Comments »
Not to let my reputation slide as someone who will try anything once, I’ve just upgraded my Twitter feed to the new API that was just launched. You can view it in the right panel of this blog.
Trouble is when Twitter is down the feed is unavailable and the API grinds to a halt, [...]
Twittering my fingers

I’ve recommenced my Twittering. I don’t have much time for well-considered blog entries right now, so being able to toss out a 2 or 3 sentence entry on the fly is good enough some days.

To Furl or Not To Furl

Does anybody read my Furl Feeds? If you didn’t know they even exist, I’ll take that as a “no.” However just for your information they’re a list of news articles I find interesting that is located in the left navigation panel beneath my RSS/Subscribe information.
The feature incorporates a third-party script, [...]
My South Park Likeness

I ran across a DIY South Park character tool last night. And after staying up entirely too late playing around with it, this was the result. I like to call it “Sleep Deprivation.”
It wasn’t a particularly good web-application unfortunately; one which I don’t think I’ll be recommending it to anyone. So I’ll [...]
