I was just perusing my various RSS feeds when I ran across a news headline which read “Stop Muslim immigration, NSW Christian Democrats say“. I was disgusted, shocked and appalled and immediately went to the article to see what bloody moron was proposing this racist moratorium.
Then I saw it was Fred Nile, and I wasn’t so worried anymore. I wonder how even he can not laugh at the tripe that perpetually spews forth from that hideous gob.
The White Australia Policy is in the past Fred. It was wrong then and it’s wrong now. Embrace multiculturalism and accept the fact that you can’t hold an entire demographic responsible for the actions of a few wacko nut jobs.
Just like the entire Christian faith is not accountable for the right-wing fundamentalist rantings of Fred Nile.

Ahhhh, the spice of life these Nile like creatures, the scary thing is, he is a parliamentarian, thus enough people voted him in! Something I will ponder for a while. Perhaps (I think I’ve said it before) a people get the democracy (or lack of) they deserve. Sometimes i wish such people could get a real taste of what type of country they would be living in if Gov was made up of Niles, I wonder how long they’d last?
Yeah I’ve been trying not to think of that, Evan. Worse still is the fact he’s been in Parliament as long as he has. People know what a nut job he is and yet continue to vote for him one election after the next! I’m scared of that.
Wonder how long before he tries to bring back public stoning or scarlet letters for adultery…
